Remember Baby J from this session? Well, fast forward 9 months, and here she is in her little pink vest, strutting her stuff for all the world to see! What a CUTIE PIE!! Thanks, Michele, for coming out to Idlewild for my V-day mini-session weekend, and for a such fun time with your little love bug.

A belated shout out to my Eli for his 3rd birthday. It snowed, and he said, "It's my Christmas-Birthday!" Three years have gone by in a flash.

Well, I've been looking forward to finally getting to post these pics of my friend's adorable Noel, who my Eli calls 'baby Noel' ;-) Here's a sneak peek from our session a few weeks ago. I asked his mom if I could take some photos of him at their home because they have such great natural light...and Noely has the cutest room because his momma has the best decorating tastes!! ;-) Thanks, Rachel. We met up with our friends (and former B-more neighbors) for Labor Day weekend. Jean and I had been talking about when I could do a family photo session, and voila, the beach became the place! And Jean grew up spending time in the summer with her family in Ocean City, so it made sense that I would capture her family of 3 there!

I am quickly becoming the world's worst blogger. Well, maybe not that bad, but close. Here's a peek at one of my beach sessions. Just had to post a pic so I would stop feeling guilty. {glug baby, glug}

I am always on the lookout for casual, stylish clothes to recommend for photo sessions. I was reading a parenting mag earlier tonight and ran across a kids' clothing company called Glug Baby. I am especially in love with their boys' tees because I am the mom of a boy, and all you moms of boys out there will agree, I'm sure, that it is tough to find cute clothes for boys. There is always a TON for girls, but never for the little guys ;-( Why is that? Well, my husband could probably answer that, as he always remarks everytime we shop that his needs are simple, and typically consist of brown and blue and then more of both of the aforementioned. Perhaps with some khaki thrown in there. Anywho, take a look. There's girl stuff, too ;-) I am smitten with the bug tee and may just have to order it for Eli!

This is a long overdue post since I did the session a couple of weeks ago, but I still wanted to get some of my fave shots up here and say what a wonderful, wonderful time I had photographing Adam, Stephanie, and their EXTREMELY ADORABLE kiddo. Man, this little guy is going to charm the ladies for sure! They were all so relaxed and so fun and easy to work with. Thanks, guys, for letting me capture this time in your lives for you!

Happy second birthday to Cody, and thanks to him and his mom for the fun morning at the park. It was hard to keep up with him, which reminds me that I am getting old! Hope you had a fun birthday party this weekend and thanks again for letting me capture this fun stage ;-)

toddler rules...or toddlers rule?

I think it's both! ;-) Being the first-time mother of a very independent toddler myself, I can say that you just never know what you're gonna get. And most of the time, that keeps it interesting -- in a good way. Here's a sneak peek for Tammy from my latest family session (with a toddler in tow). It was really great fun for me, even though she had her own ideas about things ;-) Ah, what freedom! I think her parents went to bed early that night! More photos coming your way soon, Tammy.
